What characteristics of God are brought out in Titus 1:1-4?


Which one of those characteristics do you feel you need to be reminded of this week? How can remembering that truth impact your thoughts, attitude and actions?


Paul counted himself as a servant of God, specifically entrusted with preaching. How does knowing God has a purpose for us in serving him impact our daily outlook (1:1-3)? Which specific area of service do you feel God has entrusted to you?


Paul calls Titus his “true child in a common faith” (v.4). Is there someone you have a spiritual familial relationship with either as the parent or child? What are some of the unique aspects in that relationship?


Paul begins (and ends) all of his letters with a reminder of God’s grace. We have been saved by grace, but how do we practically continue to experience and live in grace?
