QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:

Looking back over Psalms 1-8, what is one or two points that have stood out to you?

Also, have you been left with unresolved questions?

Psalm 9 begins with a word of praise. What are ways to “recount [God’s] wonderful deeds? As a church? As a family? As individuals?

God is pictured as judging his enemies with striking detail. How are we to make sense of the love and grace of God and this side of judgement?

God is intimately aware of those who seek him (v.10). What promises from the New Testament reinforce this truth?

Is there a promise to trust in from this Psalm? How can that promise be lived out?
