Farewell to Ephesus - Acts

ACTS 20:1-21:16

Paul concludes his third missionary journey by revisiting disciples on his way to Jerusalem, where he anticipates being arrested. He says goodbye to various churches and shows resolve, peace and contentedness as he heads towards his imprisonment.

QUESTIONS

Read Philippians in one sitting. What sticks out to you? How does it compare to Paul’s message to the Ephesian elders (Acts 20)?

Paul warns the Ephesian elders to be on their guard for themselves and the flock (Acts 20:28-31). Why? Is there significance/relevance to this warning for us today?

What do you tend to measure your value by? Has it changed over time?

Are there areas in your life you aren’t content? Spend some time in prayer asking the Lord to teach you contentment in those areas.
