How We Go Deeper - Ephesians

  1. What knowledge allowed Paul to be able to pray with confidence?

  2. In verse 14, Paul refers to praying on his knees. Some other examples of kneeling to pray can be found in 1 Kings 8:54, Psalm 95:6, Acts 20:36, Luke 22:41. While the Bible also contains examples of other postures in prayer, what is significant and good about sometimes kneeling to pray.

  3. How is it that we can have access to the Father in our prayers like Paul did?

  4. Why does it take faith to let Christ dwell in our hearts? What practices help you grow that faith?

  5. What does it look like when believers are rooted and grounded in love?

  6. Although the believer’s life is one of faith, we can actually comprehend and know the love of Christ (verses 18 -19). How is this possible?

  7. Considering this week’s passage, are there any changes you feel led to make in how you prioritize prayer in your life?
